The Madawaska Snowmobile Club Groomer Facility/Clubhouse was Established in 1993 . The club is governed by a 12 member Board of Directors. The Madawaska Clubhouse is located on Fournier Rd in St. David. The Madawaska Club is responsible for grooming 51 miles of trails each season. MSC has over 150 members and encourages people riding the area trails to become a member of the club. Trail maintenance is very costly, and your membership is a big part of helping us maintain the beautiful, well groomed trails that we have. The MSC is known for its yearly Landowners Supper held in October, where the club Board of Directors cook a meal for all of the area landowners at no cost to show appreciation for the use of their land. The club has also begun to offer Club Rides, which are organized to leave the clubhouse and ride out of town , where reservations are made for up to however many people are participating to have lunch and come back by another trail. It is a wonderful way to experience the Arooostook County trails at a pace where you can enjoy it. It is an awesome fun filled day! Another one of the MSC's special events is the St. John Valley Associates Fun Day held in March. Clients of the local facility which cares for children and adults with special needs, get to enjoy a day of riding in the groomer, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and any other outdoor sport that they may want to participate in. This event has become a true success and attracts many volunteers.
